The Count Screening in Nhill

    May 2011

Our friends over at Shilling Entertainment have some big plans in the pipelines.  The Count, the debut feature film by Luke Launer, is having another public cinema screening, this time in the western Victorian town of Nhill.  The first screening in Bendigo was a huge success, a sell-out, the film itself a terrifying home invasion thriller featuring outstanding improvisational acting and boundary breaking concepts.  A must-see.  I know.  I was there :-)

Eternal Screens @ Harold's Shorts

    May 2011

Last nite (May 10) our short film Eternal took on the Harold Park Hotel in Sydney for a screening at good 'ole Harold's Shorts.  Thanks to a resident Sydney-sider, Sarah Jayne (the best art director ever!), for representin' the crew.  From all accounts it was a top night of films and fun and Eternal went over like a hot naked lady in church.  A little bit outrageous, a little bit courageous, but so damn fine!  Yes, I'm drunk as I post this ...

 El Western Production Wrap

 March 2011

Production on our first film for 2011, El Western, is complete!  What a shoot and what an experience, a long and exhausting but incredibly fun six days in Kattemingga, Trentham, and Macedon, through  the rain, through the wind, through the blackouts ... but we wouldn't change a thing.  And man, the rushes look great, El Western, a 25-minute short set in the Wild West that blends romance and comed

y with a good ol' fashion high noon showdown.  Thank you to all the cast and crew.  You were fantastic.  And I love you all!
